Tia [Salon Owner]
Tia is a Dubuque native, and has been a certified cosmetologist since 2007. After graduating cosmetology school, Tia continued her education at Capri college as a cosmetology instructor and nail technician instructor. With the love of personally taking care of each and every client, she continued to work behind the chair and furthered her education with individual eyelash extensions. In 2009, Tia became certified as an eyelash technician and has continued taking classes, training others, and has the pleasure of taking care of over 100 clients with lash extensions! Tia loves making people feel beautiful inside and out! Opening a salon/lash boutique in Dubuque has been a life long dream that is finally becoming reality for her! Tia is so excited to be working with other amazing stylist/technicians in an awesome salon, spa, and lash boutique!
Pam
Meet Pam McClain, she is a people person. You will feel at home the first or the hundredth time you sit in her stylist chair. Pam is an amazing artist who has shared her talents for 41 years. Her love for her craft and knowing how to think outside of the box has kept her on the cutting edge of the beauty industry. Come feel her embrace! You will always leave with a smile!!
Abby
Young but driven, Abby brings a burst of energy with her every where she goes. After graduating Cosmetology school, Abby continued on at Capri College - Dubuque to study Esthetics. She is also a certified Eyelash Technician and has a higher certification for Nail Technology. To add to her talents she also enjoys instructing the Nail Technology Course at Capri. Abby eats, sleeps, and breathes the beauty industry and takes on any opportunity to sharpen her skills and education. Her love for making each and every one of her clients feel beautiful really shines through her work. She recently added to her line of work, Microblading. One of the first specialist in Dubuque with this on her list of services, Abby takes pride in perfecting your look!
Karina
Meet Karina! She attended Capri for cosmetology in 2008 and started her career at a very small salon in Elizabeth, Illinois, where she worked there for about 5 years before attending Capri again for esthetics in 2013. After that, I worked as an instructor at Capri until 2016. Karina recently moved to Dubuque to further her career and found her home here at Embrace. See Karina for many services, including hair, lashes, airbrush makeup and body waxing!
Hillary
Hillary grew up in Idaho and right after high school moved to bountiful Utah where she did a private apprenticeship and received amazing one on one training from an experienced instructor/salon owner, receiving her cosmetology license at 2500 hours in 2012, she’s always wanting to learn more and is driven to make everyone beautiful one person at a time. Her specialty is hair extensions with multiple certifications. She moved to Dubuque in January 2018 and has fallen in love with the town, people, fireflies, and the entire Midwest atmosphere.

MELISSA
Melissa is originally from Chicago moved to Dubuque in her preteens, here she has built a strong bond with the people as well as the city and is happy to call it home! Melissa attended Capri College in 2020 where she finished the Esthetic program and later got her lash technician certification! In her free time she is always looking for the newest and trendiest makeup looks. Book with Melissa for all your makeup, lash & waxing needs!
Kalyn
Meet Kalyn, born and raised in Dubuque. She started by watching Youtube videos about makeup to enrolling in cosmetology school fall of 2020. She did extra training for airbrush makeup and fell in love with bridal makeup. After graduating capri in 2022 she left loving all coloring services, along with eyebrow shaping. Shes going to be continuing her education with microblading in the spring of 2022!
MaKenna
Makenna moved from Wisconsin to Dubuque after graduating Capri College to start a new chapter. She loves to put a smile on every client and make them feel the best. She always wants to learn more and keep up with the newest techniques, MaKenna also got lash certified before joining the Embrace family. She is driven and ambitious to live the salon life!
